A SHORT EXPOSÉ OF MY JOURNEY INTO APOSTOLIC MISSION.- Part 1

18 years ago, alone in the comfort of my four-bedroom flat apartment, living room back in Ibadan, Nigeria, God revealed Himself to me, not in a dream, because I

Attikesime, Vogan, Togo, 2004.
was not asleep. I was sitting on a single sofa in the living room. I can not say if it's a vision. All I know was that thoughts were streaming into my heart and I could not hold it. The thoughts were at the same time forming pictures of my divine assignments on earth with ScriptureS being opened before my face.

He said,“If anyone wants to follow me, he must deny himself, pick up his cross, and follow me continuously."Matt 10:24.. He told me that,'“I tell all of you with certainty, there is no one who has left his home, brothers, sisters, mother, father, children, or fields because of me and the gospel who will not receive a hundred times as much here in this world—homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and fields, along with persecution—as well as eternal life in the age to come." Mark 10:29-31.

I was profusely crying in my living room as the gracious words were streaming into my fast beating heart. I began to declare my inadequacies and short comings before the Lord.

I lifted up my soaked face, Looking roundabout the whole apartment, thinking, so I will be far away from my family, from this apartment and my friends and relatives, to a nation or people group have just had a month's Crusades and revivals in a totally remote village mission field where there was no light at night.

He revealed many things to me, including the Revelation of Rapture and Heaven. These, I will talk about them later in my narrations.

My first missionary assignment was to the nation of Togo, a French-speaking country, in West Africa. In 2000, I had to learn how to speak, read and write French language for 6months, in an adult evening class in avedji, Lome, Togo. I had to carry slate and chalks to school every evening like a preschool child... It was great learning with the kids in the same class. A form of training for humility by God!

Thanking God for the life of Rev Moussa Yacouba, a missionary from Niger, who has a base in Togo. God used him to lead me to Togo field. Through him I traveled to many mission fields and places (up to Sinkasi, a northern border town) in Togo. He has since change his operational base to Benin Republic, first Parakou, 200miles to Niger border. Now stays in Cotonou. I will be talking about how the Lord used this great man of God to lead me to Togo.

While in Togo, God brought into my path, great men and women of God who assisted me to fulfill my assignment in Togo. Will be talking about these later.

I will stop here for today, to continue next time. This is just an introduction to the story of my life.

I hope you will learn one or two lessons from my life and mission.
